You are such a devoted follower of Christ. I know your parents are so proud of you. But you know, you many never know if they actually come to Christ however, you do know that you planted that seed--just the size of a mustard seed--and that is all you can do. You know, I have had experiences where individuals have come up to me and said, Mrs. Widner, or Debbie, I remember what you said to me that day about Christ, Jesus, God in your life, and how I turned away and laughed, well, I have come to Christ and now I know exactly what you were talking about. He is an awesome God, and how I survived before coming to Him, I will never know. Now I know I will dwell in Heaven forever and not in Hell like you tried to tell me I would unless I change, and accept Him as my Lord and Savior." Many of these were years, or months later--so you never know when an individual will come to Christ, all we do know is that we sowed the seed and the rest is up to them. Keep your chin up as you have done well my child. I love you. I pray that the churches there will continue the work of proclaiming the Name. I pray for Patience and Valentine and Irene. I pray for the orphans of the genocide to know that He is a father to the fatherless. I pray for the men who killed so many to know His forgiveness.

You will forever be different for the fields are white for the harvest. You have seen it with your own eyes. You have been to the field and know that some of the lost want to be found. You know some of the lost choose to be so. But, you will never again worry about personal rejection upon sharing Christ. You will share Christ in desperate hope that the one you are sharing with will tear into the gift of salvation with wreckless abandon.

Your sister is nuts about you. I love you so.Colleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07658830832599089903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1944155125460365322.post-70976284530844947202011-09-09T22:33:48.594-05:002011-09-09T22:33:48.594-05:00I got goosebumps when you told me that story in pe...I got goosebumps when you told me that story in person and I have goosebumps reading it now.
